The Snåsa church on a sunny October morning.
The history of the proud Snåsa church begins quite modestly in the first half of the 1200s. The present church was designed by architect Bergstrøm, Trondheim and finished in 1869. The old part constitutes the chancel and the sacristy of this church.
Snåsa is a district in Nord-Trøndelag and the church and the center lies at the east end of the 42 kilometer long lake Snåsavatnet.
