Google Maps™ – Skjerstad (Bodø)
The Skjerstad church stands on the old church site from the beginning of Christianity in this country, at the south side of the Skjerstad Fjord, at the outer end of Misfjord, east of Bodø. It was built in 1959, the architect was Arnstein Arneberg (1882-1961, he also designed the Fiskum church in this collection). The older church burnt down after a lightening stroke in 1955.
