The Edøy old church on the small island Edøy on the mainland side of the large island Smøla (north of Kristiansund). It was built from stone about 1190 and expanded in 1695. In 1887 it was stuck by lightning and destroyed by the fire. Sixty years later it was rebuilt and consecrated anew in 1950.
